LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Rams have traded Jared Goff to the New York Jets for a first- and second-round draft pick, the team announced Thursday.
Goff, 28, was a first overall pick by the New England Patriots in the 2016 NFL Draft.
He signed a one-year deal worth $11.4 million in 2018, $13.5 million in 2019 and $15.4 in 2020.
He was waived in the offseason.
The Rams also traded offensive lineman Michael Oher to the Miami Dolphins for defensive tackle Koa Misi.
They signed cornerback Kyle Fuller to a one and a half-year contract on Thursday.
They also waived running back Benny Cunningham.
